Where to start
Most writing problems are first-draft problems. If your work is stuck somewhere, it is usually because you are trying to edit a draft that does not exist yet. Start with finishing the first draft.
Once you can produce a draft reliably, the editing skill is what separates writers who finish things from writers who do not.
